Open House
On July 29, 2025, approximately 300 students and family members attended the MIS Open House. MIS staff were also in attendance after working hard to ensure the school was ready for visitors. The support of the community for the bond in 2020 allowed for the expansion of Milliken Elementary School into Milliken Intermediate School. Goals of the 2020 bond projects included extending the life of existing facilities, addressing overcrowding, improving safety and security, and enhancing instructional spaces to strengthen STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and CTE (Career & Technical Education) programming. We want to thank our entire Weld RE-5J community for believing in our students’ futures and our staff’s strengths.
